"Home-Land"_a group show of Middle Eastern artists_Sunday Nov. 14th.

"Home-Land" art show. Sunday Nov. 14th. 2010
I was very excited and honored to be a part of this show of 14 Middle-Eastern artists that was a part of the BETA arts project in Bushwick, Bklyn.
From what I heard, this was, by far, one of the most impressive shows of the whole art festival, and as I heard from a viewer "the most visceral."
After all, it's about the Middle East !:)
Between one artist' nude performance for the whole duration of the show; Joseph Shahadi's (Lebanon affiliation) lam hearts and testicles displayed on the table with needles stuck in some, Makram Hamdan's (Lebanon) live chicken installation with worms, and (..Hmmmm...xcuse me) my semi- nude photographs of Israeli female soldiers, plus the work of the many other talented was an intriguing (and familiar in a peculiar way) event.
